Young Closer On Fire

The rookie Closer for the Oakland A's Jeremy Barfield had a pretty rocky start to the season, but as the season slowly progressed he has shown his excellent skill. Jeremy Barfield 28, although he is up there in age he still has awesome potential to be one of the star relievers in OTB. This year so far Barfield has scored up 9 saves with a 3.06 ERA in 14.2 innings, but the big story of Barfield has came in the last month as he has not given up a run in 11.0 Innings and along with that has an 8 save streak going on since the middle of April. Now the A's in a effort to get a more efficient minor league system have been trying to shop him but there have been no takers for this top reliever. Many say he is too old for there team, but age is but a number and weather your 28, 38 or even 18 you can still preform at a high level. In my opinion I think Barfield will be traded by the end of this season, but that's just a hunch. Who knows maybe he could lead the A's into the future as the leader of there pen.
